5.1 Installation of Supporting Plates and Shims |

5.1.1 Jackscrew supporting plate shall be set up in accordance with the following requirements:
a)Mark out the position of jackscrew supporting plate on the equipment foundation and chisel the foundation pit slightly bigger than outline dimensions of the plate,as shown in Figure 5.1.1;
b)Adjust the jackscrew supporting plate with 5mm/m levelness and±2mm allowable deviation of the elevation and meet the normal adjusting requirement of the equipment jackscrew;
c)Set up formwork and grout with non‐shrinkage grouting materials.The height of grouting layer shall be 3mm‐5mm lower than the upper surface ofjackscrew supporting plate.

5.1.2 Shims shall be set up in accordance with the following requirements:
a)Keep the thickness of the machine foundation grouting layer between 20mm‐40mm,chisel out shims position on the both sides of anchor bolts with 5mm/m allowable deviation of the levelness and then set up formal shims;
b)If the thickness of the foundation grouting layer exceeds 40mm,the setup of shims shall comply with the requirements of Article 5.1.1.
