Lu Shunmin was born in 1965 in Hequ, Shanxi Province. Now he works with Shanxi Literature Monthly. He has published prose collections such as The Ancient Ferry at the Yellow River, Seeing 84 Martyrs Home, Farmers in the World, and long biographies Pan Jiazheng and Zhu Bofang in addition to the reportages including Pathway to Prosperity: Poverty Alleviation Stories in Shanxi Province and Zhaojiawa: The Disappearance and Rebirth of a Village. He has won Zhao Shuli Literature Award, Bing Xin Prose Award, and Ordos Literature Award of Chinese Writers, etc.
Yang Yao was born in 1975 in Dai County, Shanxi Province. Now he works with Shanxi Writers Association. He has published novels such as My Second Younger Brother's Blockhouse, The Hardened Knife, The Passing of the Village, The Fleeting Years, The Shining Railway Track, and The Soft Light of Buddha. He has won Zhao Shuli Literature Award, October Literature Award, Shanghai Literature Award, Shanxi Literature Award, Yellow River Novel Award, and Annual Pure Novel Gold Award, etc.
Chen Kehai was born in 1982 in Xuan'en, Hubei Province. Now he works with Shanxi Literature Monthly. He has published a collection of novels, such as Innocent Life, Moral Animal, Almost Spring, and The Footrest Box. He has won Zhao Shuli Literature Award, Mangyuan Literature Award and The First Tujia Literature Award.
